Disclosure: I received the products featured in this post complementary in exchange for this review. I was not compensated for this post in any other way. All opinions are my own.
I recently was contacted by Uncommon Goods and had the opportunity to review a great selection of items from their Kitchen & Bar collections. I love what I received and can't wait to share them with you today and talk about how they'd all make great Mother's Day or wedding gifts.
Before I share what I received, a little about the generous company! Uncommon Goods was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. Their site features unique designer decor, jewelry, tabletop items and handcrafted gifts which are created in a harmonious nature with the environment and no harm to people or animals. Other facts about their products:
- half are handmade
- most jewelry products, table top and home decor items are made in the USA
- about one-third of their collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials
I love that they treat their employees well by paying them fair living wages. Their CEO, David Bolotsky, is known for his passion on this topic and I love supporting companies that are led by people like him.
I picked out some beautiful and useful pieces, all of which would make wonderful gifts. I haven't had the opportunity to use all of the items yet, but I have enjoyed the ones I have used so far! We are looking forward to having an indoor composter for under our kitchen sink and I can't wait to see how the mushroom growing kit works!
The handheld berry bowl is the item I have used the most so far. It's handcrafted by Joanna Buyert and I love that Uncommon Goods shares makers' stories and intentions for the product designs!
When I'm looking for a unique gift in the future, I know I'll turn to Uncommon Goods because I love their company philosophy and the quality of their products.
Thank you so much to Uncommon Goods for this opportunity!
