Retzer Nature Center, Waukesha

We've visited Retzer Nature Center a handful of times in the last couple of months. It's so close to our new house and a great park to have nearby for two people who love hiking as much as we do.

I thought I'd share some of the scenes from our recent visits. As a birdwatcher, I was sad that I didn't capture any shots of birds. We did spot a beautiful hawk in the woods, but my image turned out blurry.
My husband is always being silly.
I love this picture of him. :)
I thought this was a chipmunk, but Craig quickly shot back and said, "it's a baby squirrel." I really don't think I'd ever seen a baby squirrel before this hike.
 See the fawn!?

  1. Looks like a beautiful nature center! If you like birds, you should check out this blog I read: https://seasonsflow.wordpress.com/ It's only a monthly post, but usually has some nice bird photos.
