Strike Through Cancer at Jason's Deli

Craig and I headed to Jason’s Deli in Brookfield for dinner last night! 

We participated in their campaign to Strike Through Cancer in partnership with the MD Anderson Cancer Center. 100% of the funds raised will support MD Anderson’s critical cancer research and programs.

We donated $1 at the checkout and received a sticky note to post. Since Craig has lost two family members to cancer in the last seven years, I told him to write the tribute message. His Aunt Wanda passed away from multiple types of cancer only three weeks ago. 

Besides writing a tribute, you can order the Super Slaw Salmon Salad that Jason's Deli developed with MD Anderson Cancer Center registered dietitians and 50 cents of that purchase will go to cancer research. 

Since I don't eat fish, I couldn't order that salad. I chose another healthy dinner instead--the spinach veggie wrap with fruit. 

Craig has been wanting to order the baked potato for a while now, so he got the Pollo Mexicano type. 

I love that we can always look forward to ice cream for dessert at Jason's Deli! Yum!
