My Everyday Life [Week 3]

I tried this dairy free yogurt and it was ok. I probably won't buy it again as I prefer unsweetened yogurt with fresh fruit added in now.
If you're in a book club, I recommend listening to this podcast. It gave me some good ideas for ours!

I took a couple of hours off of work to study for my test. My buddy Shiva would not leave me alone! Also, I look tired here and it's because I didn't know it then, but I was coming down with a flu-like virus.
I think this is where I left off before I got sick. I need to catch up as I miss my daily practice.
I started to feel sick on Wednesday afternoon, had a day off of work to study on Thursday, and then I had to take a test on Friday. I didn't know if I could pass it while I was sick, but I did and even earned an 80-89%. I know that the weeks of dedicated studying really paid off.
We finished watching Chernobyl and it was so good. I learned so much. Craig already knew a lot about the topic.
Shiva has been my little cat nurse while I've had this virus. He has slept with me almost every night and follows me around the house. I have appreciated it so much.
Pema continues to be independent and silly. On Sunday, he decided to randomly sit on our humidifier. It was blowing out cold air and he normally prefers the warm air of the heat vent instead.
Once I finished passing that insurance designation test for work, I moved onto studying the ACE Behavior Change program so I can renew my personal training license. It's a fascinating course so far! There is so much psychology that goes into it.
Other things going on this past week: I really got into the book "Know My Name" by Chanel Miller and I'm almost done. It's so good that I am slowly reading it and processing her experience.

We got a bunch of snow and while it's pretty, I am already ready for spring.

And to be honest, it was a pretty crazy week so I understand why I got sick. Besides my test, I was contemplating a change at work and decided not to go forward with it.

My Everyday Life [Week 2]

Welcome to week 2 of 2020.

First book of the year finished. 1 down, 59 to go!
I'm still obsessed with baby yoda. We finished watching The Mandalorian this week. I really enjoyed it, despite not growing up as a Star Wars fine like Craig.
 Library haul.
 I've heard good things!
When you accidentally match Adriene with a black top and blue pants.
Stuck inside on a snowy day. These guys loved all of the cuddles and attention.
Pema wanted to practice yoga with me. He likes to lay on my mat and flip from left to right.
I've been cramming in insurance info for a designation test this week. It's not the most exciting or easy material to study, but repeat practice exams and skimming the books helps.
Day 11 of the 30 day Yoga with Adriene challenge. I'm hoping to keep up with daily 20-30 minute yoga practices after this challenge ends.

My Everyday Life [Week 1]

Trying to get back into blogging again, so I am starting with this journal series I love and miss. Welcome to week 1 of my everyday life.

Went to see Little Women with mom on New Year's Eve! I enjoyed it very much and now I want to read the book.
The last two books read in 2019. I read 50 books last year!
The first picture of 2020 and of course it's of my little loves soaking up the sun.
I practiced yoga on New Year's Day in preparation for the 30 day yoga challenge by Yoga with Adriene. This post workout smoothie combo never disappoints. I highly recommend spirulina, especially this blend by local business Tippecanoe Herbs.
I'm trying to reduce my waste this year and one way to do that is to always bring a reusable coffee cup with us when we get coffee out.
A nice gift in exchange for my cat sitting services, complete with a little Swiss ladybug chocolate.
Day 1 of the yoga challenge! I felt a little weak and my eyes look wattery here because I had a cold.
I'm so thankful for free yoga videos on Youtube that allow me to practice in the comfort of my little home gym.
Pema wanted me to focus on Caturday vs. studying for my second AINS (Associate in General Insurance) designation test.
Craig fooling around at Fleet Farm. Last time we went there, I posed with the horse so it was his turn this time.
Warrior. Feeling great by day 3.
Pema the snuggler and beauty.
