My hair has a bit more volume on top when I use Pure Abundance hair potion and Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lemon Sage thickening spray.
I remember seeing this thickening spray in a magazine about a year ago and got it pretty cheap at Ulta.
It smells good and thickens my roots.
My friend Laurie purchased this bottle of Aveda Pure Abundance hair potion for me as a Christmas gift ages ago and it has lasted a long time. Granted, I don't use it every day, but you don't use too much at any given time.
It is a powder that you apply to your roots for some extra volume.
I used this Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother when we were on our honeymoon in Europe and I was without a flat iron for two and a half weeks. It smells good, works fabulously, and controls the frizzies I get around my face.
I purchased this product that was recommended to me by one of my hairstylists, again because it controls the wavy frizziness that creeps up around my face throughout the day.
It's a little greasy, but if you go easy on the amount of product, it does the trick and doesn't weight down my hair too much.
I bought this L'oreal Elnett hairspray when we were in Europe, hence the German writing on it. It's a "cult classic" and magazines always advertise it as being the product stars use. I like it enough to say that I would buy it again. The scent is a little old ladyish, but I have had worse.
Lately, I've been using this Kenra Volume Hairspray and loving it. The scent is quite pleasant as well (it reminds me of the smell of Anthropologie for some reason).
Note: I bought all of these products with my own money and none of the hair companies sponsored me.
What styling products do you love? Are you loyal to one brand or do you like to try different ones? I have always loved Aveda products because I like the smell and quality, but they are kind of pricey.
I actually have the opposite problem. I have a lot and its very thick. They have to thin it out whenever I get it cut.
ReplyDeleteLately, I've been liking garnier fructis styling products. I don't like their shampoo and conditioner but I like the new flat iron perfector straightening mist before I blow dry my hair. It leaves it frizz free and protects from the heat.
I love the Aveda Pure Abundance! A little goes such a long way and it really works!
ReplyDeleteI love Aveda's style prep!! I use it after each wash.
