I was reading the January/February 2012 issue of Health magzine and came across this article, which peaked my interest. I am always looking to save time with apps like Flipboard, so I downloaded it immediately to check it out.

It's so cool! The best way to explain it is that instead of having all separate apps for Facebook, twitter, instagram, google reader, etc., you link up those accounts through Flipboard and can read them all within one app. Make sense?
I linked up my google reader account and started reading blogs with it (don't worry, I click through to the web so you all get credit for my reads). I love the photo and title format it presents on the main page.

If you're an iPhone user, here's an article I found online entitled "Nine Ways That You Too Can be a Flipboard for iPhone Power User."
MyFitnessPal
The other app I've been loving is MyFitnessPal. I used to use Lose it! to track my calorie intake occasionally and switched to MyFitnessPal once I got my iPhone.

The ability to find the foods I eat is so easy. It's also really simple to log my cardiovascular and strength exercises.
I especially love the statistical breakdown of my nutritional details for the day. The main thing I am using the app for is to make sure I am getting enough protein and fiber every day. More on the fiber part in my next post.
MyFitnessPal is free to join and you can track online if you don't have an iPhone or iPod.
Have you found any apps or websites you are loving and can recommend?
