Budweiser Project 12 Special Edition Beers from #MC

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Millennial Central for Budweiser. I received a product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”

My parents hosted Thanksgiving and my two brothers, Dean and Brian, and their families also attended. My brothers and parents love beer, so I was happy to receive a wonderful package of Budweiser Project 12 Special Edition beers to share.

I was also provided a slate board with chalk, tasting glasses, and linen coasters. I setup the tasting area at the end of the table and discussed the three different beer options with everyone and why they were named what they were.

The three small-batch Budweisers were named for the ZIP code where the beer is brewed:
  • Batch 94534 (Fairfield, Calif.): Brewed with a unique blend of North Pacific hop varieties, including Cascade and Palisade, this bold, hoppy lager is 5.5 percent alcohol by volume (ABV) and offers a distinct taste of the American Northwest.
  • Batch 23185 (Williamsburg, Va.): Aged on a bed of bourbon barrel staves and vanilla beans, this light amber lager indulges the sweet side and features a 5.5 percent ABV.
  • Batch 43229 (Columbus, Ohio): Brewed with chocolate and caramel malts for a rich auburn appearance and finished on Beechwood chips for a crisp, clean taste, this deep amber lager is 6 percent ABV.
My brother Dean is more of a traditional kind of guy and he enjoyed the flavor of the North Pacific Lager. My mom and dad love Bock beer, so they preferred the Beechwood Bock Batch 43229. I did get Dean to try the Vanilla Bourbon Cask and while he was skeptical of it at first, he really liked it and didn't think it tasted too much like vanilla.

My brother Brian enjoyed the lager as well and sister-in-law Ginny loved the Vanilla Bourbon Cask.

I tried a little of each flavor and enjoyed them all, but I think the Vanilla Bourbon Cask was my favorite. It went really well with my vegetarian Thanksgiving plate!

Thanks to Millennial Central for providing these products for my family's Thanksgiving gathering.

  1. I just bought a very similar slate board from Uncommon Goods that I haven't gotten a chance to try out yet. Happy to see they work well!
