Had a bit of an unexpected break from the blog, but I'm back!
Our everyday life was a bit annoying in the beginning of December. Our fridge had a large leak for over nine hours while we were at work and a restoration company came in to dry everything out in the kitchen and basement. We still need to get our baseboards fixed and a few planks of wood replaced.
Books I've been reading lately. Read the middle one and will write a review soon. I couldn't get into "The One-in-a-Million Boy," which was surprising to me because I had read such great things about it.
Since these are so popular, I finally caved in and bought them. I didn't realize they taste like thin mints. Yum!
I took an interior design class at work (job perk) and enjoyed learning a few things. This is me arranging furniture in a room.
Craig and I being silly while we waited for my parents to meet us at a Christmas themed event.
The alpacas at the event were just so darn cute!
Thanks to Craig's wonderful work wellness benefits, we got a BOSU ball for free! I haven't used it as consistently as I would have liked yet, but I will.
Us on Christmas Eve-before the flu hit us both hard.
The kitties waiting for me to jump into bed. Because we both had the flu and were up a lot in the middle of the night, I slept in our spare bedroom most of last week. Shiva slept at my feet every single evening and now he's obsessed with following me everywhere. Pema literally crawled into the bed and slept right next to me for a couple of hours one night. I kind of loved it, but I missed our bed and not having to worry about kicking a cat.
It's back to work for me tomorrow! It was weird to have the whole week off unexpectedly and spend most of it stuck in bed sleeping and trying to get healthy.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday and Happy 2017!
